Dozen logs dried for 2 years before milling... after milling- reassembled logs with spacers between boards and strapped tight to further dry... average moisture is 13%.
Black walnut, redwood cedar, beatle pine, ash, elm slabs cut with live edge.
Would make great tables, shelves, mantles, etc..
Too numerous to list all slab dimensions and prices, but we cut 1.5, 2, & 4 inch thick. 11-13 feet long. 24 inches wide on thickest, then tapers down.
My ideal customer would take everything....
If you buy everything and need the storage space, you have option to rent the storage space, That way You could just come get what you wanted out of the barn, As you need it..... (Just an option, if you need it.)...
- I also have 4 or 5 trees of Elm or Aspen that I made 3 1/2 to 4 inch planks out of, as I was going to put them on my trailer, but I ended up selling that.
There is over 95 boards, plus cookies, stumps, etc... if sold individually (at super cheap $50/board) I'd be looking at $5,000... $7,000 is the market price, others are selling at.... I'd take $3,700 for EVERYTHING, so i can be done with it. (I don't have time to deal with selling individually, but great opportunity If you do! )
