This MK1 Rabbit was a “garage find” and brought back to life by our team. We have owned it for 5 years and have been slowly working on it as we had time. We had plans to eventually do an engine swap [VR6 or 1.8T] but have since moved on to other projects and lost interest in this one. The vehicle starts, runs and drives well. The A/C does work however it will make the car stall due to the load. The fuel system could use a proper adjustment / tuning by someone knowledgeable on CIS. The convertible top is in excellent condition and the vehicle is as “rust free” as they come. It appears to have been restrayed at some point in its life. This car is not perfect, but is in great shape overall.
